Josh Morash

Josh is the owner and president of Kempton Appraisals, Bridgewater. His university studies led to a Bachelor's Degree in Science at St. Francis Xavier University before he found his calling and career in real estate. He then earned the CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) designation for the Appraiser Institute of Canada in 2010, and remains actively involved in the industry.

His appraisal experience is extensive and includes a wide variety of properties throughout the South Shore Counties of Nova Scotia. Josh can provide an extensive range of appraisals from single family dwellings to multi-unit dwellings, vacant land and commercial properties. His deep-rooted knowledge in real estate assists him to fulfill the role of passing along his real estate expertise to our clients to aid them in their real estate investments.


Angie Croft

A first impression is a lasting impression. At Kempton Appraisals Bridgewater, regardless of how you access us: through our front door at 180 Dufferin Street, Bridgewater; by way of the internet; or via the telephone, Angie is your entry point to accomplishing your valuation requirements.

But it doesn't stop there. Angie not only manages our office and operation, she is an integral part of our valuation team. She has worked in the customer service industry for over 25 years. She completed studies at NSCC in Business Administration and received a Diploma in 2011. Joining Kempton Appraisals in the same year, she has brought with her extensive business knowledge and experience. This knowledge base has made her an invaluable asset to Kempton Appraisals.

Our vision was the vision of our mentor, Philson J. Kempton Sr. Phil has spent his entire career in real estate and the past 46 years in real estate valuation. Phil has been a pillar of the valuation world leading future colleagues through education and experience to rewarding careers serving stakeholders throughout Nova Scotia and beyond. Phil has welcomed valuation issues in all four Atlantic Provinces and has inspired our South Shore group to meet the challenges of our wide-reaching community.

Phil, an AACI since 1974, continues to service his clientele from his firm in Metro Halifax. Phil has served in many capacities of the Appraisal Institute of Canada on both the local and national level.

What are the different designations?

AACI, P.App: The AACI, P.App (Accredited Appraiser Canadian Institute; Professional Appraiser) is a fully accredited member in the Institute and indicates the individual's competence in a wide range of real estate appraisals.

CRA: The CRA (Canadian Residential Appraiser) is competent in appraising residential properties and dwellings of no more than four units.
